About
About Verity Yoga
I practice and teach yoga, love everything health, nutrition and nature. I am a beach lover and enjoy reading books, listening to podcasts, drinking tea and of course family time with my husband and 3 beautiful children.
My journey in Yoga started in 2009. Practising yoga has completely changed my life. I am now physically stronger, mentally stronger, more balanced and happier.
I joined My Health Yoga Teacher Training in 2015 – out of curiosity about yoga and knowing myself on a deeper level. Without knowing yet whether I would actually teach yoga. I am so glad that I undertook this training and will be forever grateful for the wonderful experience. I learned so much about yoga philosophy, anatomy, meditation, sequencing and more. This commenced my new chapter in life as a yoga teacher. At first, I was still finding my own voice, it takes practice, patience and courage to face & overcome my own doubts, worry and fear. And this is exactly what Yoga and Meditation did and still does today for me.
Being a yoga teacher also means becoming a life-long student. There is so much to learn and understand about how the mind and body works together. Currently I hold a 350 hour Level 1 Yoga Teacher Training, Rainbow Kids Yoga Teacher Training and short course in Yoga Therapy. I am completing my 100 hour Yin Yoga teacher training. I started teaching with Verity Yoga in 2016 and I am qualified in hatha, vinyasa, flow style, pre-natal, post-natal, yin, elderly and kids yoga.
I would love to share this journey with you, beautiful soul.
Together we can achieve a balanced state of mind, healthier, stronger and more flexible body and a joyous soul.
Namaste.

“Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the acceptance of love back in our hearts. Love is the essential reality and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life. Meaning does not lie in things. Meaning lies in us.” – Marianne Williamson
